An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,

I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

St Patrick's Breastplate Prayer

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me.
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.

Christ beneath me, Christ above me.
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger.
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

As a parish we seek to deepen our knowledge of the Bible and Catholic teaching by:

  • Small group sessions
  • Lectures by invited speakers
  • Films

Those interested in the Catholic faith are welcome to speak with the Parish Priest or members of the congregation.

Padre Pio prayer group: This group meets regularly on the first Monday of the month in the church. All are welcome to attend.

Pre-First Communion Group

Little Disciples is a gentle introduction to formation in the Faith for pre-First Communion aged children (3-7 years). The group meets every other Sunday at 3pm in the Rosary Room for a snack and story, short talk, craft, prayer and a run-around with friends (weather-permitting).
