 Meals” and “The Passage” were our Parish Charities for 2013. A number of funding raising initiatives raised a total of £1178. Two new charities to support for 2014 have been chosen. Following last year’s theme it was agreed the local charity would be The HUB and the wider Catholic charity would be The Good Shepherd Sisters - Lebanon (support to go via Aid to The Church in Need). As last year, boxes will be distributed before Lent and there will be an end-of-year fundraising event; contributions to be divided equally between the two charities. 100 club The parish runs a 100 club to provide funds for the church. New members are welcome. |
